and just had to register. I was searching for mountain biking in my area and one of the links brought me here. It seems like the majority here is 760 and below?

I figure I should join the party and fill you in about myself.

I'm a child of the 80's. I was the kid tearing up your grass, riding through the flowerbeds and putting skidmarks on your driveway. I raced BMX in my teens and ruined the heads in the VCR from watching RAD on repeat.

I rode mostly bmx street/urban stuff until the age of 26 when Specialized came out with the P3. That was my intro into 26" mountain bikes. I've since raced downhill, starting from novice up to expert, and done a 24-hour at Hurkey. Oh, and I've a Rosarito-Ensenada under the belt too. Bmx, road, xc, dh, unicycling... it doesn't matter! I love to ride!

Now, I've got a baby and the time for biking has been limited to the daily work commutes... for now.

I'm new to DT.C but been around since 300 baud modems. That's about it, I might just join you guys if my sched permits.

I seem to recognize you from your bikes and I'm who you think I am. :) We're part of the same Hutchinson pamilya. Are you headed to Itsa Bike today?

hahaha, cool, yup same pamilya. I'm gonna try and sneak out to catch the grand opening today. If I can, it'll probably be around 2ish. Eric says he's gonna have a cooler of beer behind the counter and I think he's firing up the grill too.

You seemed like a great fit, right up to the unicycling comment (kidding, of course). Welcome.

Welcome, that's a similar story of several of us here. Well, maybe except for the downhill racing part. And the unicycling. Anyway, welcome to the tribe, you'll fit right in.
