Inaugural Post

The title of this post says it all.

I've been signed up for a few days now and have been "lurking", so I figured it was time to drop my first post. Hope to see some of you on the trails and hopefully I can make it to a Saturday LC ride in the near future.

BTW - zenmonkey760: I was opposite you at the wash following closely behind that certian "person" who negoitiated the graceful endo this past Sunday at SCST...

La Costa rides are a blast.

I was given that nickname years ago by an old boss of mine. He said it described my style of being.

And yes, La Costa is fun. I've been there only a handful of times ever, although it quickly became a top riding location for me after the second time.

I would call Sycamore my "home" trail if I had to pick a trail to call my home trail. Also, PQ, and Hodges are frequented often with LC thrown in for good measure when I can get over there. I Just got a MTB in April, so unfourtunately, I haven't gotten to ride very many places yet, but I grew up doing flatland (and dirt jumping on a trick bike much to many peoples suprise) so being on two wheels is natural for me. I'm dying to do ATT and SJ - We gotta set up shuttled runs for those two places...

I'm working on it. I'd really like to, just waiting to hear from a friend to see if he's coming with me or not... and I gotta work out my way to get there. I drive a civic and and don't know if I can fit my bike in the back seat (wow that sounds bad). I have a trunk rack, but I'm worried about it's stability. It's old and I hasn't been used since I was a little kid, so I'm kinda leary of putting my baby on it, ya know? Usually my friend with a Ranger and a bed rack is my method of trasportation to all rides. He's my best friend and we ride together all the time, but he left for LA about two hours ago, and won't be back until Sunday...

I promise I'll try to get there.
