Welcome from North County! I just rode at Flag last weekend. IMO, you should check out the Idyllwild / May Valley trails north of here if you're missing Mt. Elden style rides in the pines. But there's lots of other stuff close by...a lot of variety around SD County.

Welcome Liz. Hope the Noble butchery didn't turn you off too much. We are a pretty mellow but tenacious bunch. Different groups with different riding preferences. From shuttle runs to deathmarches we probably offer the whole spectrum. There is also the roadbiker's anonymous group no one talks about.

Liz seemed indeed like she would fit right into DTers, so try not to scare her off too much. This whole site already is such a sausage fest.
