Another welcome from Veesta. (trail off Friendly? that area was our 4WD and motorcycle place many years ago, when the old adobe was there, before they built so many houses...)

Thats a fun little area. I know the jeep roads, But there is some short but fun single track out there too. I live close to there and what I like to do sometimes is get to the saddle then hoof it up to the towers on that way rutted out overgrown steep as hell trail. coming down gets pretty technical. Also, Im sure you know from there its great to keep heading east over north twin oaks valley rd. Up over those hills to the 15 and dear springs. Mostly with that one though i'll take the train to escondido then ride up to dear springs then access that trail just above that ampm there. Take that up and over all the way back into vista droping back down friendly. Pretty fun route. A little bit of everything on that one. You guys down?
