Jhill, that sounds like a nice ride, a Reign X, I was actually thinking of getting one before I purchased the Nomad. I went to check it out!

I road La Costa today and at the bottom this guy had a flat tire. He got a flat at the top of the hill and didn't get to ride down at all. I told him that he should have had a spare tube. On the way up, I found some goggles, I have to find the owner. When I got to the top of nascar, I got a flat within the first fifty feet! I fixed my flat, rode down and went back to the top. This guy sitting next to me forgot his water bottle, and I tried to catch up to him, and I thought he took the switchbacks down. I got a flat tire again towards the bottom and I didn't catch up. I didn't have anymore tubes, so I had to patch up the flat. I thought there was a tear only one side, and put the tube in the wheel and it wouldn't pump up. It turned out to be a pinched tube, and both sides of the tube were cut. The first and the second tube were both pinched in the same exact spot, on both sides of the tube.
It was a great weekend to ride! I am tired, but very happy!

Sounds like an eventful ride. Yeah I was thinking about a Nomad too (i LOVE my Chameleon) but they were a little bit out of my price range and then happened to stumble into some sweet deals on the Reign X and other parts so Giant it was. I demoed a Reign over spring break and was blown away. Have yet to ride a Nomad. I'm going to hopefully get it built up Thursday afternoon so I'll be down to ride in the coming weeks.

Hey Abzillah. You should come along for the La Costa night rides one day (tomorrow May 5th is the next). Sorry Noble wasn't happening. But as our governor said:"I'll be back."

Abzillah,

Thanks for coming out this WE. Was very cool riding out with you. Sorry the first big group ride ended on a painful note, but I hope a few beers and ice packs will help resolve matters.

See ya soon!
