Welcome. Us newbies needs to stick together. As guys we like to give each other a hard time, but I have found the cycling community friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. People generally don't talk out their butts but will have a good rational for what they are doing (even if it seems stupid and wrong). Kind of, "this works for me it may not work for you attitude".
