Greetings Gang....sters

Brand new dirt treader member here. I recently started MTB'ing after a 20 year, ahem.. sabbatical. I lurked on the forum for a month or two, and last night I saw that a group ride was scheduled today at La Costa. I interloped right in, and met some really nice folks; Pete, Stu, Tim, Sue, Rob, Tom and some others. I appreciate the friendly welcome. It sure was nice nice riding with a group.

A highlight was seeing Stu recover from an all-out sideways switchback slide-out lay-down at high speed. I thought for sure it was going to end unpleasantly in a big ol' gravelly full-body scabby trail-rash. Not even a scratch. Nice technique Stu!

At any rate, thanks once again for the warm welcome. I look forward to hooking up again for more rides. :cheers:
