Up until about a week ago I was getting email notifications when I got a PM. Since then, however, I have not.

I went into my settings and verified that I have the option to receive emails when a PM is received checked, but its just not happening. I clicked and re-clicked the box to try to "re-set" it, but that didn't solve the problem.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

not that it I really care all that much, but email notifications were kinda cool.



also, any idea why i have been haivng problmes embeding youtube vids??

I just checked out the pm/e-mail notification thing...I need to talk with someone who has better kung-foo than I about it. I didnt notice it because I dont normally run mine for the notification, but I have been testing it since reading this thread and am not getting notified either.

Italo, I dont know why your having a difficult time with embedding the youtube vids, I just did a test thread on it and it works fine for me.
Are you using the letters and numbers in the url bar after the "=" and pasting that into the youtube tags?

i just usully click the 'embed' button on the youtube vid and copy/paste that link (embed code) into the thread....obviously with the youtube bracket chingaderas....

That wont work....did it work for you before? I tried it in the past and it never worked for me.
Instead of using youtubes embed feature, use the letters and numbers in the url bar after the "=" and pasting that into the youtube tags.

So..what I did to avoid this issue any further, was add the adminAtdirtTreaders address to my contact list and logged it as not junk. Thanks for the heads up LDood! :thumbsup:
