People who may be looking for work, have a company, need work etc.

I've seen these things work in the past. Maybe guys have businesses that are slow, maybe someone needs an extra hands etc. Even for a simple as things such as references... I.E. "does anyone know anyone for XYZ skilled trade etc"

Personally, I'd rather see my money go into the pocket of someone who is like minded and doing what he/she can do that doing the random thing.

Just a suggestion. If it seems appropriate cool, if not, maybe the random board.

excellent idea.
is there anyone with mill / lathe access / experience?
currently need a set of shock mount bushings turned. i know i could order from a LBS or online. but hey, we got to start getting reference somewhere.

Im reading it...but like the last forum that was asked for..Nutrition/Fitness..there hasnt been enough activity to lead me to believe that its actualy worth setting it up.
How about, if someone posts a poll, a yes or no. Im not just going to look at a majority rule but a general populace vote...if most of our active members vote for it I might consider it.
