So, my outgoing pm's are getting "stuck" in my Outbox. Any ideas? Am I an idiot? My inbox is not full. I tried to pm Ldood, and it's stuck in the Outbox as well.

Haha,

No the messages show in your "outbox" until the recipient opens the message. You can also remove them (delete) if the recipient hasn't opened them (and they disappear from the outbox).

I laugh because I was confused about the same thing one night and I wound up reading half of the documentation from the Bulletin board software until I found out why this was happening.

Let's take this to a whole 'nother level -- if you delete a message when it's still in your Outbox, will that message not be received by the person to whom it was directed? I've got a bit of OCD myself when it comes to tidy inboxes, outboxes, and the like . . . .

i believe they still get a notification that you sent a message but deleted it. i've used this functionality to edit messages before the recipient gets them. i think it notes the edits as well...
