Hi everybody.

I'm looking into video cameras. I'm pretty sold on the GoPro wide. Anybody have a review on this camera, good or bad? Any other good cameras out there in the "under $200" range?

Thanks for your imput

It's a great camera for the money, don't think you'll be dissappointed with your buy. Get one from Doug at North of the Border!

Doug? Got some in stock? I looked at your sight. Looks like you don't sell on-line.

+1 here for the Go Pro, check out their site if you need convincing on the quality. Its 5x better than what you see, they look sketchy on forums because of youtube not the gopro.

I have a regular Go Pro; the thing I noticed was that it ate batteries pretty quick. I would by the expensive batteries but it still ate them. The other thing I notice was the sound is pretty bad. Video quality is good ability to place it on your helmet or bike is also good but looks dorky on the helmet. Honestly I would save up a few bucks & get the P.O.V. I have it and am much happier with its much more stealthy :ninja: , takes great video, batteries last much longer & you can put it places on your bike a GoPro wont fit. All that said for $120 you really can't go wrong with the Go Pro wide. I have a regular Go Pro if you want to borrow it you can, if you like it $40 and it's yours. I'll be at La Costa around 8:30am tomorrow.

Not too many Dirt Treaders are going to be at La Costa tomorrow morning due to the DT Anniversary Debauchery Ride at Daley Ranch...

Yea any more climbing then 20 min burns me out, that why I like La Costa so much, quick climb nice down. I've started roading allot so I can overcome my lack of stamina

My 2 cents is you should get a Gopro Wide angle. I really like mine.

I'll give you $45 if you can ship it. PM me if you want to arrange a sale. Right now I'm still on the east coast, but I'm heading out to the west very soon. Let me know.
