Hey:

What do you think about replacing the "Thanks Button" which is damnably ghey... with a "FU Button"?

Think of how many FU's you could give a clown like Fo?

maybe you could tie it into access that way you don't need mods. Enough FUs and you are banned.... then people would just start giving them to be funny and soon we would all be banned.... except for the people who don't post so can't get FUed, and how fun a board would that be with a bunch of no posters on it..... this has been an excercise in lame.... I'm going to have to self FU when the feature comes online.

No, No No...not with the idea of banning people. Leave that to those other thin skinned, politically correct, weenie forums.


I thought there was little to no moderation on this site? That's what makes a forum interesting, real, and fun. There's too many MTB sites that are overly moderated, in a heavy handed fashion, by ninny hall monitors. Just like in PleasantVille... Errr, I mean STR.

I liked that movie.... Pleasantville that is...... wasn't spiderman in it? Oh yea now I remember which movie that was I would have given it an FU. Damn that was a crappy movie. And no I wasn't acutally suggesting that. I am a believer in a rule free society, the problem with that is that your lack of rules may infringe on my rights or vice versa. The only thing that really chaps my hide is when people try and put their rules on me. (IE Kill your fetus don't kill your fetus.... your decision don't ask me what to do.... tell me what I should do..... or use my taxpayer dollars to pay for it. Or get pissed at me because I disagree with you)

Had i left the karma function (or actually installed on phpBB3), I would have had the ability to set up a ban level.

So far, I haven't felt much like banning anyone. Even when Phonger calls me a chode...

Now if he went to some other site I was lurking on, maybe...

The problem with banning is that it is so absloute. How can we learn if we are not punished? I think after a few offenses the offender should be forced to go on a group ride seatless. Second offences may force you to ride only on the road or perhaps only a trainer for a month. That kind of thing.

There is the "Friends and Foes" section in your user control panel. I set it up this morning and Fo is now a Foe. Voila! He's disappeared!
