logo: I started one, just wondering

if Im headed in the right direction, keep in mind this is just the logo, and If approved by powers that be I will start doing a banner with this logo on it of course....

I like it. My suggestion is to "dirty" it up a bit... and maybe do something with the "tribal" looking swirls.

I tried a few things with that tribal but its so ornate that it kind of took away from the name... I can put up a couple of attempts at it but my fear is that it will be too busy and not readable...Im looking into dirtying it up a little now...my thought was clean in palette, a little edgy, bold, but not stark, and of course the number one issue is readable.

I can add it in later I was just going by what you did, Im trying to get a feel for the site, seems like we are a motley crew, and kinda rock n roll types, but the site is clean and structured, Im also looking at the current palette of the windows and the overall layout...btw, the 700x100 banner size you asked for is a little small, I can work it but its gonna be small...and whats that RGB unsafe color programmer mumbo jumbo?

don't worry about that limit. it was based on what would fit on the old layout.

is this layout too clean and structured?

unsafe web colors have an unpredictable display. brown is very unsafe. some machines will make brown look like poop.

As far as the slogan. I totally dig it. Sure it's cheesy, but slogans by nature are. I think it is a perfect tagline for this site. Damn Roadies! jk
