Thanks RHS for organizing the fun ride. We enjoyed it. Besides, it's always fun to get to ride with my wife whenever the opportunity comes (big thanks to raptor's wife for babysitting).

The downer: raptorz31 and loball were so wound up and ended up dropping the group after two break stops. Chris added so much extra miles out of a tiny loop we ended up with enough footage to produce two vids. Sorry no pics. Chris sessioned far too much and ate up all the time for any photo op.

Here, the product of raptorz31's impatience and uber competitiveness:

Great to finally meet Sue, Fatwhat Doug and good to see Andy riding again. Thanks for being patient with my wife and I. We enjoyed the ride.

Raptorz31 was pinned at redline today, in an attempt to cover-up for my lack of speed and or climbing prowess, I played it off that I was gonna be the sweep.
Nice to meet ozzersbetterhalf, and am stoked The Darth Monger made his way back to the Milky Way Galaxy, prolly returned for a break from the day to day overhanded rulings as a Sith Lord at The Death Star.

Does anyone have a gps showing the route you took? I'd love to check that out.

My GPS is unreliable. It's the raptorz31 binary bit model. Lol!

Drive towards Idyllwild, find the arts school and park at the end of Toll Gate Road when it turns into dirt as it intersects with Control Road (fireroad). Park here and explore. You will find them all and you won't get lost. If you think you're lost, get to the Control Rod fireroad and climb back up and you will get -re-oriented again. Better yet, start off with mtb bill's route and you'll figure it out. I'm digging that place..whichever bike I ride.

Fun times yesterday! It was great to finally ride with someone other than myself and meet some awesome people.

As you can see my first panoramic attempt with my phone camera was a fail. Nice legs everyone ;)

Orven you should thank raptorz; he was were merely clearing the trail of any potential rattlesnakes. I was his back up should he go down. ...not to suck any poison out, but to document his passing and salute the snake of course!

You guys missed an awesome conversation on the ride back. Death Monger is a great historian...my abs hurt and eyes are still dry.

Thanks RHS and Sure for the ride and hospitality; I had a great time.

Oh and thank you heather for showing us around up there...I'm sure Raptorz will love that leg shot of your hubby!
