Trail reaches west
Cross bridges and trenches
Brown fields extending to canyon walls
To trail's end
Streets blissfully devoid of traffic
Past salt marshes
To the beach at Torrey P
Along the sand north
Tires cleaving the waves
Past a cormorant on the sand
Dogs, people, everyone smiling
No gears, suspension, GPS
Just a good friend to ride along side
Breather at Del Mar beach lifeguard station
Return
Rotors screaming like train horns from sand and salt
Families out enjoying the trail
Back to the start
Inebriation
Nap
...
