Looks pretty. I think I need to go for a ride there again.

How does it hold up after a rain? Say it rains tonight and tomorrow, would Sunday be OK to ride or does it days to dry out?

PP- I think it's spring canyon in MTRP

It's in the City of San Diego, but within the borders of a highly secure US Military installation.

Most of the area drains pretty well after a little rain. We're not expecting a ton of rain so the trails (up in the canyons) should be ok by Sunday.

But the wide access roads going across the grasslands and up under the 52 bridge can turn into nasty, sticky, drivetrain-clogging mud with even a light rain. Some spots already have hard-as-concrete ruts in them from people riding after the last rain we had. I don't feel too bad about leaving a few ruts in a big wide fireroad where they'll just run a blade down it to flatten it out again, but if they're completely bogged up then there's a good chance the singletrack will be too wet to ride.

And yeah, your guess is in the right area - it's looking down into Oak Canyon from the top of Iron Tread. Not really part of MTRP since it's north of the 52, but you access the area from MTRP so close enough
