Actually, it's toyon. But surprisingly, a couple of women hiking made the same mistake, and the same comment! I was so surprised I didn't have time for a clever reply...or to stop...until I was well past them.

Anyhow, here's a few more pix. "I don't always take pictures, but when I do, I prefer iPhone". There's two reasons: Long ago I decided to be less analytical and more in the moment; and I'm basically lazy.

Back to Skyhaven. Oddly, three vintage 4Runners in a row...fading into a sublime sunset, which became gorgeous on the drive home for Christmas dinner. It was a wonderful day.
