What a great trail system built for mountain bikers by mountain bikers. The MORE organization worked with the maryland depart of natural resources to build the trail system. Tons of log rolls and downed trees incorporated into the trail to add a technical aspect. Not a lot of elevation loss and gain here, but the flow of the trail will keep you coming back.

I'll get some pictures up the next time I ride out there. Instead of rocks and snakes to deal with, I get to figure out how to ride wet roots. Here is a trail map for now.

From my experience with roots, the only advice I can give you is do it right and momentum is helpful. Them things hurt in a unique way.

Can't wait to see pictures :bang:

I know all about riding the wet roots and little to no elevation. I lived in Mississippi for 2 years. Our trails were also built by bikers for bikers.

Here are a few pictures of Schaeffer Farms. The sun has finally shone itself out here. Five weeks of rain has been enough. I have forgotten how great Fall days are.
