Wow! Those guys aren't French, but you're right, the crazy Frenchman would be the guy who built that section. I don't usually like to watch crash videos, but that was awesome. My favorite.

I'm not a big fan of signs all over the trail but one right there would make sense

You could tell the one guy was hurt, but really, it is amazing that it wasn't worse, or that they weren't all hurt badly. Which is part of what makes that an "awesome" crash video. That, the POV, the lemming thing, and the bikes raining down....

Edit: It's on Pinkbike now, with scores of comments, including a translation of what they said, as well as comments by the guy who led them off it:

" juano6 (2 hours ago)

Hello people, i am the guy that crash first and I want to tell how the story was for me:

Two friends, that knew the track, tell us that werent others huge jump from that point and we where very exiciting ,VERY!. I was going very fast and when i saw the "Bridge" (Looked pretty solid to me, like a gap) in the middle of trees, I thought, easy gap for sure ,because the track didnt have many difficult jumps and obviously bad choice jumping with looking first, so in the air the only thing that i thought was "Could I be more stupid? In what bike park of the world exist a bridge-jump? Could I be more stupid (again), You never jump with out knowing, why now? So i get prepared to fall , I hit very hard in my stomacke so I couldnt shout loud to the others to slow down, after my friend Sebastian flying followed by Javier, 3 seconds latter the craziest of the team, Benjamin, appaer pedaling in the air with out touching any tree. Benjamin broke his helmet with the impact, Seba his wheel as you can see, Javier nothing and I was peeing blood for one week but fine!.

And that is the story dear people that love bikes! (Sorry for the english)

PS: I am a great racer looking for sponsor for the world cup, I train every day for it and work hard trying to get money for races.
P.S.S: I learned the lesson jajaja"

had they drank enough wine, they would've veered left, as the french trail builders rightly intended.

don't ride sober in europe.
