DM is flexible. I have lights, will ride LPQ anytime, any day this week after work starting btw 4:30pm and 6 pm and 1.5 -2 h ride time at moderate pace. DM does no crazy stuff. East or west entrance. Tunnels is a must, rest is negotiable. Phonger? LDood? Anyone?

Our group may ride here this week either Tues or Thurs @ 4:30, we haven't committed to a place yet so we may go somewhere different all together on Tues & Thurs, howver if we do go to LPQ I'll post on this thread the night before.

DM tried to fix his front deraileur, consequently DM is now headed for the bike shop. Another lesson in what my core competencies are (an what they are NOT). So, I guess I will be game starting Tuesday night. I'll wait for luna to post and go from there.

I wish I could Dirt Monger, but I am full of resposibilities in the evenings. When my kids are off to college I will ride with you in the evenings...only 7 more years!!

Ahhww. Too bad. But at least there's hope. I bet, given the exploits of your younglings, they will be able to join us on the trail quite soon (and then hand DM his butt, of course). The force is strong in your family!

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing y'all on Saturday on that anthill in my backyard (aka. LaCosta).

Get "Zinn and the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance". It explains how to do everything. I rarely use a bike shop any longer even though I get free tune-ups. I just don't have the patience to bring my bike in and then be without it for a week or more while some underpaid numbnut, who has no love for my bike, spins the cranks a few times to test any adjustments.

Sorry DM I've being doing most of my riding in the morning since I can go longer and there is no one home waiting for me, I got to take advantage of it while I can.

Yeah, I have that book. I am apparently not graced with any technical skill as it applies to bikes. It's a mess. I remember to throw my bike in the corner as a kid and have my dad fix it. He was less patient than the guys at the bike shop. But I didn't pay him either.
