We still got peeps interested in the team. 8) Its just that we just have dwindling attendees for our first practice/tryouts. Thats understandable. Yall went last week and it is far and hot this time of year. I am still going to chase down my dream of starting a mtn bike team in sd even if the odds are against me. :| Its better than the evens being against me, right?

Mauical, Danimal and his roomate Chris P will definitely be there this Sunday.

Thrillride, Mike Kim, you two still down? We can make it more local if its easier.

Danimal, no can do Sunday as I cashed in too many chips last Sunday, so to speak. Family things are a big deal now and I like being married and having kids in my custody! :?

La Costa Sat at 9 am? It's a nice warm up for Noble.

my dingbat brother :? just told me that my 11 year old nephews 1st rock band concert is sunday at 5 not saturday at 5. So ...is there any chance a saturday ride (or a monday if your off of work) is better for anyone who was intending to go.

maybe we should just go on the "not always lacosta" ride and do this "practice" when we have more peeps and maybe more local so more people can go. your thoughts?

Getting people to drive that far for a training ride might be a little tough. Doing several laps at La Costa or Elfin seems like it would be a good trainer. I know doing the main loop at Daley twice is good for mileage and gradual elevation. Singleminded knows a pretty decent route at Vail that you could use for training.
Plenty of options for training. I think Noble would be more of a fun day...other than the climbing up Indian Creek and lower pine valley to get there.
