The next Camp Pendleton group cyclocross/MTB ride has been scheduled. See details below (also posted on www.celopacific.org). Please spread the word to your cyclocross & MTB buddies that this is not exclusive to Celo Pacific members. All are welcome.
When: Sunday Aug 24th
What: Cross Country CYCLOCROSS / MTB Bike Ride.
Where: Meet near the back gate of Camp Pendleton at LuiseƱo Park (link below).
Time: 9:30am meeting time for a 9:35 rollout! Don't be late. Approximately 1:45 to 2 hours ride time. Route: Consists mainly of non-technical fire roads (some are sandy), and this time a little single track (non-technical). Suited for cross bikes, but mountain bikes are fine too.

Pace: Moderate - not a Hammerfest, but not a recovery spin either.
Who: Celo Pacific point of contact is Mark Campaigne (760-500-7879).

Yeah kind of. I was for two years and stopped payig my dues cuz I is broke. But I still told them I would volunteer at their 2 races a year (I do the concessions and am now the only guy with the foodhandler card). They were happy to let me. So I think I am a half member. They probably wont pay for my races but I am invited on group rides and can do their two races for free. They have a road one and a bad a** "Storm the Beach" cyclocross race on the beach at Pendleton which mtn bikers often win since the course can be very brutal for cross bikes if its wet at all.
