I think I want to grind out some miles on the hardtail today, somewhere close...possibly a ride from my place to the beach and back or a boat load of fire road miles at Daley. Its starting to warm up, so if I go inland its gonna be a scorcher, but if I stay on the coast....IDK.
I spun the HT around with those bar-ends on for a bit the other day, and I now remember why I stopped using them, off they go in a few minutes...

Your right...its too late and way too hot for Daley right now, maybe I'll just spend a couple hours at Calavera.

Oh c'mon! It was 79 by 8:00 am at Cuyamaca yesterday and we probably rode the whole 22+ miles in the high 80's or low 90's, you can ride today man! You can do it!

Out of 16 riders one had to turn around because of the heat, a couple took a short cut (bypassed Middle Peak Trail) and a few where hurting but we where all smiles at the end, more about it later......
