I take it you've been to Outerbike before? One of the guys in our group went and what he told me about lining up an hour early and then running to get in line for bikes, made that a no-go for me. I then saw video of people doing exactly that in Sedona last weekend at their festival...it looks like the behavior you see at Wal-Mart on Black Friday. The same people that said it was "part of the fun" are the same people calling the Wal-Mart shoppers a bunch of fools. I say they're both fools.

I'll be going to Durango and Moab in mid-October. April will have great weather but absolutely zero chance of riding The Whole Enchilada. If that doesn't matter to you, my statement is obviously irrelevant. I do like riding with people attending the festival. You run into people from all over with the same interests as you. You should have a great time.

Never been to any bike related function. I showed up last year in Virgin just in time for Red Bull and had all the trails to myself. It looks like outer will be held in the Navajo rocks area and I don’t plan on going anywhere near there. Thanks
I be looking for you Dirtrider.

I'm not sure how "secure" the vendors row area is at Outerbike but you should go over and see if angry is allowed to walk thru. I hear it's second only to Sea Otter but then again, that was when there was only one Outerbike, now there are several. At the Fruita and hurricane festivals, anybody can just show up, walk through and participate in anything going on with the vendors. One year at Fruita, Industry 9 or Reynolds was there with carbon demo wheels. They even did all the work of swapping them out for you. Osprey was there as well and if you demo'd one of their packs, they let you keep the bladder when you returned. That was a cool $30+ score .

Sorry no pictures you can see them in the gallery. So I did Zen in St. George and drove to Moab.I found a nice camp site off Willow Springs Road just 10 miles north on the Klonzo the system. I kick around on it then rode the Klondike Bluff the next day. The best trail I rode was dead horse point state park with Dirttrider. I had enough the people were pouring in so I went by Dolores Colorado and rode boggy draw it’s smooth and easy. I was camped up the road and it started raining that night so I chickened out and bailed started heading down to Showlow Arizona and met up with a buddy of mine that’s off grid in the White Mountains WOW! I had to get back on the bike so I rode panorama Trail in Showlow a lot of cinders volcanic rock. So now I’m camping on the Pine Trail head in pine Arizona thinking Sedona tomorrow?
