Noble Canyon Sunday 4/3

I wanted to throw out an invite for anyone who has the notion to join in. A group of us are headed up on Sunday morning to ride some upper meadow trails and jump down the canyon. We are meeting at 7:00 AM @ the lower trailhead to arrange shuttles. It would be a great day to see some familiar/new faces out there...join us!
Per the usual, cold (quality) beer awaits you at the end of the ride...Pelicans allowed but feel free to bring your brand to share.

7AM!? Holy hell man. With an appetite for that sort of suffering, are you sure you don't want to climb to the top first? :wink:

Always a good time riding with you and the gang though, so I'm a definite maybe if I can talk myself out of some much needed beauty rest.

Early time aside, this sounds fun. What's the shuttle situation? I've got a single bike hitch rack; but, could throw on a roof rack for another two if necessary.

It looks like we have the shuttles covered but just in case, toss one of those roof racks on. Stoked you can make it!

As far as climbing up...you and Shannon have me thinking. Should I bring this? :ninja:

At any rate, I'm in, and will be there at 7AM (...Dangit...).

Per my usual need to maintain control of the vehicle I'm in as often as possible, I'll be driving my truck. Carpool is OK with me - meet in the Von's parking lot off Santa Fe Drive, off the 5 in Encinitas at 6 AM.

You guys are going to have a fantastic day up there. I haven't checked the weather for tomorrow but we just rode up there this morning...all of BLT, Gatos Ravine, Red Tail, Penny Pines and the top sliver of Noble. Best day I've ever had out there. Sunny and 64 degrees with an ever so slight breeze and the dirt was nirvana... especially on Gatos Ravine and upper Noble.

There were alot of hikers out there but they were all respectful and gave up plenty of room. We made sure to say good morning and thank you as we rode thru. You guys will miss most of them starting that early. we didn't start moving from Sunrise Hwy until 9 am.
