Not exactly. I'd finally flipped the chips from the "low" setting to "x-low" at the beginning of the ride which drops the bb by 1/2", slacks it out a little more, etc. I ended up deciding I prefer it in the standard "low" setting better and did a quick switcheroo before dropping in to Noble proper.

So do you think the x-low setting would promote the use of say...a 180 fork in a park/light free ride bike?

Otherwise, that is one helluva bike, dude. I can only imagine the ride quality you encountered through the canyon. Now ya' got me wondering if I should stay with a longer travel bike or pull the trigger on this Hightower 29".

I don't think a 180 fork would be a good idea for me personally. I'd rather spend the $$ on an Elevensix coil shock than a different fork (and I won't do that either due to cost). With the Pike 160, and the bike in low setting (not x-low), the HA is still 66.1 degrees, i.e., probably slack enough for the type of park riding I'd end up doing. The x-low setting seemed to slow the bike's response down (not as poppy and fun). Railed corners well, but was striking more rocks too. Would probably be better on a steeper trail though.

You were hauling ass on that demo Hightower, so maybe it's got your name on it! If you pay for one, I humbly request you take some PSI out of the shock and fork. I want you to get every penny's worth of that 130mm! :)

The 11/6 would be well worth your money, regardless of cost. It can be taken from bike to bike as you get new frames in the future. All you have to do is send to it to Push and they will resize it and retune it. If they had one for the Riot frame, which may be very soon, I would have pulled the trigger already.
