There is. I like to cross the highway at Pedro **** and go out and back on the CRHT to the intersection where it overlooks the desert above Chariot Canyon. Adds about two easy miles and rides nice both directions. Flowers should be good up there Tom!

From that intersection/overlook you can go down into Chariot then Rodriguez canyons and ride along the north side of Granite Mountain then down to Scissors, but that is a long ride in itself, maybe 20 miles, and also a shuttle.
