Wait until you see what we have planned for this year!

Plenty of trail to be built this year. It is all going to be over on the east ridge or what's known as Little Black Mountain. Planning stacked loops anywhere between a mile to three miles this season. It will also open up existing trail on the east ridge that is nearly impossible to get to by a mortal.

When we get closer to build season, I will be posting it up here in the calendar section.

I don't have any pictures to prove it, but I took a nice ride at Black Mountain today. Started at the glider port parking lot, rode west and then south and did the fireroad climb to the antennas, headed down to Miner's Ridge and over to the Lilac Trail; took Lilac to Ahwee and did Extra Credit/Doug Hill before heading back to the ball fields and returning to my car at the glider port. Not a lot in terms of mileage (9.53 miles) but there was plenty of climbing, and just enough chunk to keep my mind focused.

That's my usual route that I take for solo ride. Interesting as a solo night ride too
Always run up on something out there...

That steep rocky section between the fire road and Miner's Ridge must be pretty sketchy at night.

That fine piece of DH and a couple of other sections keep you awake out there, along with all the creatures that want to eat my fat ass.(or so I think to myself..)
