Per the planned activities this sounds like a worth while event to attend in force. Unfortunately I'll be off playing with cars tomorrow instead of riding or trail work.

Well that looks like a good thing to do when the trails are too wet for riding! I'll probably come by for a while.

Probably nothing but they can give back to the trails that they ride, if city sponsored or not.

More than MTB'rs have done for Carlsbad..... Actually, they did build some nice bridges and haven't closed the trails to bikes.

Although, the new bridges have made easier access to foot traffic, which has increased post rain trail damage by pedestrians.

Thank you, I'm glad someone other than me thinks this. So while they ask the community to clean up "trails" aka dirt sidewalks they continue to shut down fun single track.

That hasn't been my experience in Carlsbad, but I notice most folks who live in the Carlsbad area are happy with the Master Trail Plan by the dismal number of MTB'r from the area who showed up at the meeting to dispute it. If the MTB'rs of Carlsbad are happy, then it's all good.
