Pivot Bike Demo 1/23/15 at Calavera [Moved to Bonsall]

Well.. I'm bringing my gear to work, but am not sure if I'll have time or not.

A Pivot is not really on my radar, but it'd be fun to try something different, so if I can get out a little early on Friday, I'm going to see if they have anything for me to try.

PLEASE NOTE:
the local ranger put a stop to having the demo at Calavera before it even began.
They are moving it to the shop in Bonsall

^^^ I am not surprised. Makes me wonder how well bike shop people understand their local trail access issues. I am disappointed somewhat...I was planning to drop by, for no other reason than to drink a beer with RHS and stare at the carbon.

Aww fack! Just arrived and no demo at Calvera. Checked the 1st post and finally noticed they moved the demo to their parking lot in Bonsall. When did that happen? Didn't bring my own bIke either. Sure glad I left work early for this...

Shit. I was in such a tizzy while at Calavera and tapping on my phone, I didn't even see the previous posts about this being shut down.

FYI -- I just stopped at the demo and talked with the shop owner, Jesse, about trail advocacy etc. He seems like a good guy. I refrained from riding a new Pivot, partly for lack of time, but also for the same reasons RHS was agonizing about...BTW, it was a City/CNLM ranger who shut the demo down, not DFW.
