Annual SDMBA PHOTO CONTEST – Thursday December 4 2014, 7-9pm, hosted by Cal Coast Bicycles

Join SDMBA and its sponsors including Cal Coast Bicycles for an evening of free pizza, beer, and mountain bike stoke at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 4th, 2014 at Cal Coast Bicycles – 3020 Adams Avenue, San Diego CA 92116. Stop by to enter in your action shots, enjoy good company, and check out the work of fellow mountain bikers.

Dirttreaders have always been well represented at past years photo contests, hope to see lots of you there!

Everyone is welcome but you must RSVP to evan@sdmba.com if you wish to attend.

All photos will be displayed at the event and judged by your peers. Winners will receive some cool swag and get their photos printed on the SDMBA Poster Calendar for 2015.

Cal Coast Bicycles will be offering a 15% discount during the Photo Contest.




HERE ARE THE RULES:

*SDMBA / IMBA members can enter up to six photos for free; $10 for unlimited entries

*Non-members welcome – 3 entries for $10.00; or unlimited entries for $30 which includes free SDMBA/IMBA membership. You can become a member on-site.

*All photos are automatically entered for Best of Show

*Prints may range in size from a minimum of 5 x 7 to a maximum of 8 x 12. Please do not have the prints framed.

*Photos must be from within the last 5 years.

*On the back of your photo please include your name, email, phone number, the category and a caption or title for each photograph.

*You must be present to win.

*By entering the SDMBA Photo Contest, you agree to grant SDMBA, IMBA and the Photo Contest Sponsors the right to display your image in print and on the web. Entrants will retain the rights to their photographs.




THE CATEGORIES ARE:

Trail shots (show us your best vistas or scenery, beautiful locations, or your best compositions)

Bike shots (your best shot of your bike or bikes) Leaning against things pics or any other bike pic welcome.

Holy SH!T (pucker factor, stunts. features, gnar, free-ride, whatever gets your adrenaline pumping)

Racing (Your best race photos - Downhill, 4X, enduro, XC, endurance, etc)

Air time (show us how you like to take flight - hucks, doubles, dirt jumps)

Family affair (Boys aren't the only ones who like to get dirty)

Gravity Sucks (Show us your crash photos!)

Oreo (your best black & white photos!)
