Be forewarned if you are planning to ride up there on Saturday or Sunday June 7th & 8th. This is a big event and there are a lot of entrants. I have been riding the trails a couple of years when this race is going on. The runners are generally spread out, and generally polite if you are, but there are a lot of them, and repeatedly pulling over will seriously impair your flow. If that is of primary importance to you, you might want to skip this weekend, or consult the course maps to see when they will likely be on the section you want to ride. Use of a bell and a smile highly recommended!

Thanks for the heads up. I was out there last year and although we tried to stay ahead of them the first two caught us just before the aid station, those guys run fast. Did I just hear someone say Big Bear ?
