We got a triple birthday celebration going down, Augdogg, Lost one2 and myself. Looking for a ride leader for a tour of that area

Wish I can join you and give you a tour, but will be out of town this weekend. I hope someone steps up and lead. Have fun out there this weekend. On a side note, there are usually regular riders beginning thier rides between 7am and 9am, if you don't have someone to lead you may be able to tag along with someone from the trailhead.

Nothing to see down in the South Bay - only fire roads, wider than the ones at MTRP.

You'll hate Rock House, Billy's, Bones, Punisher, the SWEET singletrack... You should just leave the South Bay Secret alone and not get to know it because that's how rumors about trails being good get started.

Happy B-Days and have fun - it's a great place to ride. I'd show you around but I'm tied up on Saturday.

Sounds like a good time, I am in. I have ridden there a few times but really only know the hill, and the two or three ways down it. A local guide would help a lot.

So is that an open invitation, or just a request for a guide?

IN...terested! Thanks Fred. I will have to consider the weather, the route, the elevation gain, and how I'm feeling on Friday...but I don't need to consider the company, which I rate highly.

I am going to Disneyland this weekend, thanks for the invite btw. But I already informed the king of southbay for a guided tour for your awesome group. He replied:

Baja:
What time? Is kind of early to know for sure but I might be up for it.

Please bring a cold Pepsi or Coke for Baja.

Paseo Veracruz(by San Miguel Park) is good.
For those not familiar this is a climbers ride, bring plenty of water. There's no "easy" way back so you committed for the ride ones you're in.
No one is left behind and we ride as fast as the slower rider and that usually me ;)

Fred already told me I was out for giving him AARP shit. Too bad though. I'm still in. And as usual, I'm able and willing to drive as long as you're willing to meet at my house - right off the 5 in Encinitas/Cardiff area. Prefer to keep it to 3 additional passengers.
