I'm in.. I'll be seeing y'all there.

Hopefully there's a new guy joining this ride- there's rules for new guys, ya know?

I'm sure someone here can educate the noobs on what the protocol is.

I might be in for this, plus another English buddy. Is there an agreed meeting time yet?

Ahhhhh...the meeting time is in the title thread. Dumbass. I'll bring beers for that stupidity alone.

Hey Mark, since it took you less than a minute to realize your mistake, may I point out there is an "edit" button that avoids the necessity for a dumbass confession? Of course the confession is more entertaining, so thanks for that. Looking forward to seeing you guys at the ride.* Especially since you're bringing beer!

*Well, seeing you at the start at least, since you and everyone else will be rapidly climbing into the distance. Save a beer for me at the bottom, please.

I rode Rockhouse once.

Sadly yes... Wish I could get back that 2 hours of my life.

Well I am going to have to take a AARP raincheck. Unless I can find some spare parts.

Easy: Orange handlebar and stem from Abzilla's all-mtn bike.... he won't notice, he just rides TW all day

So how was the ride? I've been at work since 10:30 and didn't see any of you guys on the mountain.

Great ride today guys and gal! Nice to meet more Dirt Treaders as well. Sorry I had to bail on the ride, Stans just didn't want to seal my tire today! Hope everyone had fun, especially that beginning climb you all came down for! Can't wait for the trail reports and pictures! Big thanks to Baja for leading the group this morning!

It was great meeting/riding with everyone. The trail was a beast but Jose was at the helm the whole journey. It had a little bit of everything I would say. Happy Birthday to my brothers I wish you all good health. Big thanks to Shannon for the lift! Sue for rolling, Dan, Fred, and Don for keeping me company in the back.

I didn't know quite what to expect out of that trail network. I have to say, I normally don't get too gung-ho about that type of riding, except for a few of the sections that had some excitement/fun. However, I also have to say that I had a great time! And it really kicked my ass! During that last mile or two of climbing, all I could think of was beer and chapstick. Yes, it was hot a dry.

The company was great as well. Big thanks to Jose for leading that ride. :bang:

Happy Birthday to the three amigos.

And thanks to the remaining crew for humoring my aversion to eating at Chipotle (in Chula Vista for Christ's sake!), and moving up the road for some real Mexi-food (good call on Jorge's Augg).

Awesome day guys.
