Did a short two hour ride this morning through a forrest nearby (Lembeke , Belgium) with 2 to 4 inches of snow it was a good work out.
Lots of singletracks here but you can't see them 'cause of the snow (and therefor i can say what i want , haha).

The road to the forrest was very slippery so i didn't take a picture on the way there , too dangerous.

Started with this gravelroad to begin , wich was also slippery but fun tho.

Leftovers from the second great one , there are about hundreds of these spread out here .

And more snow to plow through

It was about 25 Fahr. I've ridden in temps way below zero , crazy stuff in the Ardennes last winter , temps were -0.4 Fahr. then .Normally i put my bottle in my backpack , one of these :

Great pics. And i thought it was cold here this morning. I think I was even feeling colder looking at all that snow. I grew up in Idaho & Colorado, but dude, that looks insane.

As soon as I looked at the 1st pic, i thought are those hedgerows? The bitter cold, the forest, snow, hedgerows all made me think of the Battle of the Bulge. Then I saw the bunker and thought, yup. Man that be so gnarly, to be stuck in the all that. for days while someone was trying to shoot you. Great visual. Thanks again.

Awesome pics! I absoultely love snow rides and I try to get one in every year.

It's possible to get a decent snow ride in here in Laguna and Cuyamaca, but the timing has to be perfect. I've managed it twice and failed once when there was just too much snow to ride. Riding a day or two after a single day of 4-6" snowfall seems to be the ideal riding conditions here.
