Finally posting some pics of my last trip to Reno. The peavine mountain trail system is about 10 min north of downtown Reno and 5min from the university. If you are ever in Reno for work/travel, Peavine is a great network of trails to hit up if your short on time or can't travel too far. TAMBA along with other groups are building some more trails that I recently rode including one of the california enduro races held at Peavine. In about the first 4-6 miles you can get in 1500ft of climbing and from their you can venture out for more climbing, traverse along side the mountain range, or head down the enduro course. Average mileage is 10-12 if you stay on the halo trail.
