Im going to be heading up to somewhere near Levan, UT for a week on a hunting and fishing trip in the end of October and come hell or high water am going to shove at the bare minimum a 3 - 4 hour MTB ride down a few guys throats. (cause they will be riding in my truck
) Levan looks to be a little more than 3 hours past St. George for reference, 1.5 hours to Salt lake city. Is there any "cant miss" riding up that way? My buddies Im rolling with are in shape, but not regular MTB'ers so Im not looking for any major technical stuff preferrably a fun XC type with the awesome views. If our only choice is a more difficult ride then thats what we are going to do. I believe they are going to make a day of fishing which I will turn into a day of MTB'ing. We are going to sit down this weekend and start figuring out all the BS involved , so if Gooseberry Mesa is where the riding is then I will figure something out, maybe leave a day early and spend the last day down there. I dont care if its a snow covered logging road or if Im riding solo thru a bear infested forest, I will get a good ride in while im in Utah.
(If you have ridden with me you know I dont go fast enough to hurt myself anyway) This is happening the last week in October, me not knowing anything about the area is everything going to be covered in snow? I know there is a good chance of heavy snow where we will be at for the week. TIA for any help.
