Bjammin, Offroadie and I headed off to Utah last weekend for some sweet riding. I hadn't ridden with either for some time so it was great to get back on the trails with them again. With cool-ish temps and high winds, Little Cr Mesa was recommended by Quentin at Over the Edge as the most sheltered riding area. With a few more layers than normal the ride ended up being decent temps, and it turned out to be a great day of riding. View from our campsite after arriving late Weds night Starting off Bjammin on a cool roller Offroadie takes a different angle Bjammin on a steep Trail takes a sharp turn here For baja...sorry nothing to lean it against! Bjammin following cairns Spectacular background followed us the whole day Offroadie following Ben Who says there aren't markers at Little creek? Offroadie rolls Bjammin on the entrance to a chute Rolling the waterfall The climb back up to repeat seems a lot steeper This pic gives a bit more perspective, but seems steeper than it looks Threading a needle Completing the waterfall Bjammin and offroadie check out the view Offroadie sets out after a break Rolling into a bowl Offroadie in the open Another for baja Offroadie laughing as Bjammin bails A favorite DT past time Offroadie checks out the view Bjammin gets the shot Bikes on the edge Bjammin shows us how its done Signature feature at Little cr Offroadie on the skinny Cool view between Bjammins wheels I take a try at it Bjammin on the edge Offroadie checks out the view Riding on the edge Taking a breather Epic lighting Bjammin rolls the edge Offroadie stays on the trail Views here cannot be beated Offroadie and Bjammin round a corner Could not stop looking at this Offroadie and Ben ride up the mesa Finishing the ride in near dark, we soon decide to abandon plans to camp due to high winds and frigid night time temps. A good day of riding. Found lots of new dirt (rock), and something like 16mi which is really respectible for Little Cr. |
