Heading out to Preskitt and Sedona for 4 days of riding. Looking for some loops that are 15-20 mile range in Sedona and maybe a bit longer in Preskitt. I have ridden on the south "Village of Oak Creek (VOC)" area of Sedona and a couple of trails in Preskitt (396, Granite Dells) . Interested in North and west Sedona loops and anything cool to ride in Preskitt.
Let me know if you have any suggestions or GPS maps.. I have the Sedona map I picked up from Absolute Bikes which is a good one but it's not too clear on difficulty or mileage. Thanks!

Just off 3 days of riding in Prescott. Get on facebook and jump on the Prescott Mtnbking Alliance. Post a request and a host will step up. I rode parts of Granite Basin, White Spar and today Thumb Butte trails. As a sea-level dude, the 6,000+ elevation took me by surprise. Get acclimated or suffer!

Prescott has a cool pump track at Granite Creek Park, which is almost in the center of P-Town . If you are doing the motel thing I would stay near the park. There is also trail 305 which is a pretty popular trail. The scene in Prescott is supper cool. I personally prefer P-Town way more than Sedona. Sedona is undeniably beautiful, but it always feels to me kind of like Seaport Village, quaint and nice but it's only about separating you from your money.

Yep, Prescott really gets it when it comes to mountain biking. I used to work AZ and liked that area so much I purchased a rental home in Prescott Valley. I use it for a excuse to drive out and check up on it.
Heck, I might end up living there some day..
The riding has a lot to offer and every trail has been a treat. It will be where we are staying for trip (you gotta love Hilton points)
Did you do out & backs or were there any trails that you could connect together? i'm checking into the Whiskey route from this year (minus the crappy weather they had)

Sedona is a bit commercial but after you get 50 yards off the road you forget all about it. The riding there is so cool and not like the trails we have here. You can just play around in a spot for an hour if you wanted to just finding different lines. The locals there have it made for sure.

If anyone can come up with some rides please let me know. Whatever happens it will be a blast.
