I used to play hockey with Jason Austell, but I don't know if that would help.

Luna, Thurs 4:30 at the tunnels?

That's what I'm thinking, Tues. recently has turned into BMX playdates with the local kids.

We need to hit Tunnels as much as possible.

I think we need a 'Save Tunnels' campaign like there was a 'Save Trestles' one. The only issue is that puts up up against the hardcore enviros.

Seriously bro... I wouldn't even know where to start or what would be the best way to use 'community energy'.

In about two weeks I will be on an extended vacation unpaid vacation so I will have copious amount of time.

In the mean time maybe some sort of blog? SaveTunnels.org and SaveLPQ.org available. I can pick one of those up tonight and have some sort of blog together tomorrow.

IMO If they close down Tunnels, you'll see more trails being cut, going down the north side of the hills at LPQ.

IMO if they want to close what were doing, they don't have enough resources to patrol the area, yes the may have a "Sting" once or twice a month, but there is not enough money in budgets right now for that.

The city is BROKE, they will only listen if it involves lining their pockets with money.

I will continue riding the same trails, as technically I'm breaking the law, every time I go out there. Also last time I went down Tunnels the "poop machines" where in Tunnels too.

Here's an article posted in the Del Mar Times about the boards decision.

http://www.delmartimes.net/news/249622- ... mesa-trail

Here's the lady at the MTB board meeting, she was one who said their was no MTB back in the day, but now she see's MTB all the time. Forget the part that she can see about a billion houses  If the open area starts getting smaller were all going to see each other more.

What's up with the drama in Carmel Valley. Can't a guy exercise anymore there without hassle. Anyways here's an article in the DMT.

Christian Clews' seat was saved on the Carmel Valley Community Planning Board, after a bylaw review showed that allegations that he shoved a jogger did not give the board authority to remove him.

Carmel Valley college student Matthew Guise requested the board remove Clews after an incident in which Clews allegedly pushed him to the ground on the Carmel Valley Restoration Enhancement property. The area near Clews Horse Ranch is set aside as mitigation for Highway 56.

Clews, one of two investor representatives on the board, said he believed Guise to be trespassing on his property, but Guise said he thought he was on public land.

Read more here.
