Thanks Moondogg. Yes, I've had relatives here all week, so not checking the board much...but don't you think SDMBA could send out their e-mail notice a little sooner than the night before? You know I'm an SDMBA supporter, but they could do better in getting the newsletter and website updated in a timely manner. I'm glad to see they are having a meeting in North County. I suggested this to the board a year or two ago. In any case, this is progress! See you there.

The anouncement was first sent out in a TrailNews last Wednesday, a week ahead of the meeting. That was the day after I got confirmation from REI they could host us. See you tonight.

Well, how right you are! My apologies for the complaint! I read the 5/11 newsletter, overlooked the 5/14 one with the announcement, and then read last night's. Hard to keep up what with all the eating & drinking w/ my visitors, who I took to the airport at 4:30AM today.

So if you are the one pushing the SDMBA North County events, and making it possibly a quarterly event, you have my sincere thanks. See you tonight.

Matt, does this mean you're safe from the "shitcan the whole board" movement. :)

Hey, that was my statement. I stick by it.

Don't you have some sections of trail to groom or something? :drunk: :drunk: :drunk:

Personally I think moondog is taking a pretty good approach to the whole thing. Others should take notes.

That was an informative and positive meeting tonight, and Matt did a great job chairing it.

The next SDMBA trail work day will coincide with National Trails Day on Jun 6 (yes, it's also the DT ride at Daley). Except there will be 2 concurrent trail days. One at LPQ and one at Noble. At Noble you will be able to camp over Friday night, and a night ride of BLT is planned, then trail work the next day. I think you maybe able to camp over Sat night too.

Perhaps Phil meant a "petty god" thing? You do seem to be a spiteful, jealous kind of god Matt.

I meant a "pretty good" approach. My apologies for the misspelling, I've corrected it. Back to your regularly scheduled programs.
