Almost all of TW is within Poway city limits, not SD city limits. Meadowbrook Street is 100% within Poway city limits--which is SD Sheriff's, not SDPD.

I agree with GP: bogus report or many details left out. And there aren't "No Trespassing" signs posted anywhere = you could plead ignorance = you don't get your bike confiscated.

So what did the cops do with the bike when they took it?? Disassemble it and throw it in the back of the car where prisoners go?? Ever see that small backseat?? There's no room for a tricycle, let alone a MTB. Did they throw it in the trunk that's already filled to the brim with emergency supplies??

I can see maybe writing a ticket/fine. Confiscating the bike is way more work than any cop is willing to do. That means report writing and that means it didn't happen. :)

A lot of Poway cops drive trucks or SUVs.

Tell you what, give me your Haro and I'll head down there and test the waters.

As long as the Sheriff allows people to live out there, I'm riding it.

two way radios and air horns people. This is what works.

A person at each entrance, code words and mini air horns. Two blasts means get the fuck outta dodge. Keep your ears open and your eyes peeled.

WTF man? What planet do you live on?

I'm pretty sure the residents are going to just absolutely love people blowing air horns all day just outside their backyards everytime some crackhead gets scurred his bikes gonna get taken away. I can see that being a huge hit.

Boy are you easy to work up.

No patrol Deputies drive trucks--SUV's yes, trucks no (those are only for railroad/coaster enforcement). The SUV's are filled up with stuff too--no room for a bike.

The Haro can be yours for the low, low price of $1500.

I've been pulled over by a deputy in a pickup truck in Poway. But I digress...

Yes but were you on a railroad in Poway?

Stay off the tracks, Mark...
