Well that was a lot of work.

Also found a weight lifting apparatus near this location:

The guy I was working with said this was a geo cache and I should put it back, so I did:

Some of the trash from the mesa top:

Someone took down the horse (not me) :

I think someone from SDMBA took it home, so it is safe.

Wow, 93 people...must be some kinda turnout record! I don't feel so bad about not going now, since there was plenty of help. After all the back-and-forth discussion, I had made up my mind to go, then my usual riding buddy got laid off work this week (IC design outsourced to India...) and badly wanted a consolation ride this morning. Couldn't say no! I'm confident this was well-documented and Rob, Mike, Erik & Eric etc will turn it to MTB'ers advantage politically against MBGPhD. Sure hope so...

Great pics 406. Thanks!

As with Dan, sorry I couldn't make it either. That place really means a lot to me. So thanks everyone who did show up, and Mike Maio for all he did to organize it all. I suppose Taffy15's 30 pack of Olympia was gone through pretty quickly. :D

Too bad for the Rocking Horse though.

I tried straightening her up once as she was falling off her perch and was found to be very unwelcome. The 'inside' pic tells the story. Ran away like my hair was on fire.

I hope she finds a nice (temporary) home, and will someday be back on her perch to look after her domain.

Thanks again for the pics!

Yup, and here's the proof Dan- those blasted mountain bikers even left their broken bikes, and a pair of very serious downhill tires.

Believe me, that would be awesome. But, wishful thinking at this point. Hope I'm wrong.

What's up with all the milk crates? Is there a dairy farm near by?

I think they were used as seats and "building materials" for the mexican village.
