I seem to remember that tomorrow, 3/14, is the day scheduled for a "walkthru" tour of the trails by the DM trails people.

If so, it might be good if they are not run over by armor-clad 2-wheeled shredders.

Just a thought.....

This came from Gina yesterday.

DMM Hike Cancelled

Hi everyone.

The CMP/DMMP Resource Management Plan will not be presented at the march meetings of the CAC or Planning board b/c the trail plan component is still incomplete. The goal of the hike was to show the trail sub-committees the proposed plan to then report back to the Committee. As we do not have a complete proposal, I think it would be best to postpone the hike until we have all the right information to share to avoid any confusions when the plan is complete. As soon as I get updated info I will pass it on. Thank you so much for your patience while this RMP is prepared.

I was thinking about going to this but maybe not cause every time I see a post about LPQ I get sickened all over again thinking how it's probably lost forever. It's just not worth riding there any more since they closed tunnels and I even live close.

Also I can't stand seeing that horrible blight on the planet where they scrapped off a huge section of the mesa for houses that may never get built. Nothing there but flat dirt and orange plastic mesh fencing, and yet all we hear about now is "preservation". Sickening....

Sorry for the rant, I can't help myself...... :drunk:

+1 Go out & ride out there. There are still good trails without Tunnels.
