I rode this morning. It looked like a Game Warden truck
and police posted up at the water tank. A bunch of official
looking vehicles at the High School. I heard there was a search
and rescue mission going on. Looking for a female that has been
missing since Wednesday. I heard riders say they rode by the searchers
without any issues.
Not sure if Fish and Game was out there for that or us..........................

Ran into fire and EMT’s at the entrance to the dam. Asked about all yesterday’s shenanigans.

They were looking for a missing female. “Found her” was all I got out of the fireman.

A ranger was parked by the restroom and was more informative.

Girl was visiting a friend in O’side and went missing. Her car and keys were still at her friend’s house and her cell last pinged near the water tank above Sage Creek HS.

She was found alive in a hospital in National City.

Warn yer women folk, then arm and train them!

Traffickers deserve the same consideration as Old Yeller.

How does trafficing fit into this story? was there evidence she was abducted and taken to the water tower by a trafficer?

First: Per Dana Hanson in an article in Money Inc October last year, “San Diego is ranked by the FBI as one of the 13 worst regions in the US with about 8,000 human trafficking victims every year.”

That’s an average of over 20 per day.

B. You are not going to separate a modern woman between the ages of 12 and 82 from her phone without some type of coercion.

Lastly, you don’t want to try crossing an international border with a dead or dying person! Live but drugged, she’s “partied too hard” and border patrol waves you through.

Regardless weather THIS incident involved trafficking, the pet care tips mentioned previously still apply.

I am not saying she was not kidnapped - I still do not see any proof she was - just speculation.

Has anyone interviewed her to find out what happened exactly?

If people are preying on others in Calavera and that is confirmed I want to know. I see kids commuting to Sage Creek HS everyday via the road from the dam - that would be very scary for a parent if they knew abductions were being attempted near there.

My apologies for bringing this up on this forum, as it is not a fun subject.

I AM speculating, but I got a very weird vib from all the “officials” I spoke with.

When I asked the fire/emt group (about half dozen grab assing up near the street) the response was kinda like farting in an elevator.

Also, like most conversations, the words the ranger and I exchanged were about 30% of the conversation. Again bad vib…

Totally get it as a parent…would just advise the kids move in a pack (2 minimum 3 better etc.), but I would recommend that for anyone, anywhere, anytime…just me saying

And I violate that all the time when I ride, photograph or road trip backroads solo :?

I can’t find any news items to match this, which seems odd, but you never know.

Thanks for the clarification.

I would be very interested to hear the woman's story.

Can you find any associated news article about abduction instead?

If that woman was really abducted from Calavera there would be something about it in the news - that is a pretty dang big story.

Had to look that up.

https://www.pussyhatproject.com/

“The Pussyhat Project™ is a social movement focused on raising awareness about women's issues and advancing human rights by promoting dialogue and innovation through the arts, education and intellectual discourse.

The Pussyhat™ is a symbol of support and solidarity for women's rights and political resistance. Make a hat! Give a hat! Wear your hat! Share a hat!”

Cool. Seems like a good cause. Still don’t think there’s some sort of conspiratorial “censorship industrial complex”.
