This is the "Green Trail" they have had on their books since the beginning of last year. The Forest Service is ready to move forward with the plan. Like all projects, there is an open comment period to allow the public input become part of the project record.

From what I have read and seen elsewhere, there are ultimately plans to link Snow Summit to Bear Mountain in the coming years. Thank you Mammoth!
