From Rich....

Riding the top of La Costa today and saw a car on the dirt road just about where NASCAR takes off. I asked them what they were doing up there. It was the owner of the property that starts at the dirt road and runs almost down to San Elijo Rd and a realtor. They said they will be selling the property.
That means one thing and we know what that is. DEVELOPMENT for more houses which means more people and the paving of the dirt road which the owner says is their easement. Sad sad sad sad sad sad................ :(
Rich

Maybe a developer will purchase it as "mitigation land" like the parcels on the mesa.
It would stay there in it's current state other than you riding on it... Save the planet here while destroy it over there. Makes sense just like carbon credits

Fuck it. I'm waking the bear.

I totally agree with the whole, "ride it till they pave it" mentality. However, there's more to be done than just ride what's left, until the machine wins. Criticizing the people that try to do something about the ever shrinking number of riding opportunities seems shortsided, IMO.

I don't know the details behind whatever occurred, personally, with you and 'the other us/mtbers'. I do invite you to recognize there's a greater adversary than fellow mtbers with a different viewpoint on how to get shit done.

Your passive aggressive post is not welcome. IMO.

Aaron

Not sure. I checked her web site and didn't find the property listed. It might be right in front of my nose but the search didn't bring it up either
