Over the past years myself and many others, most of us local, have been maintaining Anderson truck trail for use by all of us mountain bikers. Those of you ride the trail will remember that early last year all the poison oak died, over the past several years branches and brush has been cleared back from the trail to give better sitelines down the trail. Near the wall of Bofus sumac has been trimmed back and drainage fixed so that the skinny part Will not further erode. Lately I have been trying to put in water bars to channel the drainage off the trail so the gully down the middle doesn't make the trail unridable. So whoever is filling in my water bars please stop doing that. In the long run those water bars will keep that trail stable and provide a better trail for all of us to use.

Thanks for all your hard work, I've never ridden your trail or crossed your water bars; but there's a cat just like you, an independent, modifying the trails around the corner from my home. I know he has good intentions, just like you, but his interpretation of trail modifications and mine, are quite different. This cat things he's saving the world, but he's pissing me the fuck off; and we both love the trail, just differently. My water bar would be up there, not here; the water flows this way, not that way!
When public land becomes "my water bar" you've already lost.
