So me and some of my friends went for our usual Sunday walk last weekend and while walking down Snake we "found" a couple of new play sets to enhance our already fun trail, besides "Roll Taco", "The Babtizer", "Poco Loco" and the Titter Totter we now can see a pony wall and zig zag bridge going over this year around muddy spot that is no longer a problem for riders and hikers.
Too bad not many Dirt Treaders care to come south to check it out.

Zig-Zag bridge in the making

Then you have to test it, is hard to turn on 6 inch. wide.

No more riding over mud.

Little Pony Wall at the top of Snake.

There was some more trail cleaning, trash remove, water flow cleared, all in a nice "sunday walk".

Bridges over muddy spots are cool and keep the trail from becoming ridiculously wide or impassable.

Thanks for doing that.

We need one up here in Rose Canyon. Think I can put one in without geting it torn down? There's a creek crossing that needs help.

First delete your post. Then just put one up and see what happens.

Or you can go through the official route and ask the land manager.

Rose Canyon is interesting place to check out after really heavy rain. The normally dry creek can have two feet of water flowing.

You'd best practice skinnies somewhere, else Sequoia won't be any fun the next time you go.

Are you talking about where that ladder used to be, right before you have that uphill that goes by the 5?

There used to be one over a concrete drainage that got ripped up near the BMX-style track. Not that one.

I'll do some recon today and maybe send you a photo. :ninja:

Great! We have being wondering about that trail, maybe next weekend after it dries out.

That is what I've been thinking for the longest time, I've been trying to get Phil
to go to the gorge with me, but it's been kinda difficult to find an opportune time. I'm gonna keeping pushing for it though.

Here's a Teaser of "The Gorge", I can drive over there & show you guys as it will need some trail maintenance with this rain.
