A buddy of mine was out the today and said that the "Bell Bottoms" (the dbl hump skinny at the top of the features section) were torn out and that it looks like they're going to widen a significant part of the trail to make it more "hiker friendly". What the fuck is up with this shit?

we were out there last week and the first 50 yards were widen out, about 8~10ft wide. but all features where there.

Seems like the city is cleaning it up and turning it into a walking/hiking/running trail of some sort. Ride it like hell until it is all gone, which may be pretty soon :(
